Stübilerhof sits at 1,230 metres in the mountains above St. Johann in Ahrntal valley — a place the Maurer family has built and shaped with care over the decades. The farmhouse went up in 1980, the barn in 1990. From 2009 onwards, Ingrid and Josef renovated the property step by step, turning it into what it is today: a small, personal mountain farm where cattle are raised.
Ingrid works as a nurse at the Brunico Health District, bringing the same warmth to her patients as she does to her guests. Josef spent his working life in industry and is now retired. Their free time belongs to the farm and their three children.
